To look as young as you feel – with natural-looking rejuvenation and thoughtful treatment. That, to me, is the art of our profession.
The pillars of a successful aesthetic treatment, in my opinion, are honesty, personalized consultation, and dedicated care. This way, we can decide together which treatments are right for you.
My areas of focus are:
Aesthetic Facial Surgery | Beauty Without a Trace
The focus of my work lies in aesthetic facial surgery. Nowadays, surgery is invisible — what matters is how natural and harmonious a person looks. Here, precise surgical techniques are combined with a deep understanding of harmony, proportion, and individuality. The goal is to achieve natural-looking results that enhance personality – not change it.
Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine | Premium Concepts for Your Skin
As a valuable complement to surgical treatments or as an alternative in certain cases, aesthetic and regenerative medicine offers a variety of options. Central to my practice is laser therapy, which allows targeted improvement of skin texture and appearance. I am recognized nationwide as a specialist in laser treatments.
Aesthetic Body Treatments | Harmony in Shape and Proportion
Even with body procedures, it is my priority to respond individually to the wishes of my patients. With a trained eye for proportions, a refined aesthetic sensibility, and clear, transparent communication, beautiful results are achieved.
Research, Innovation, and University Activities | Excellence Through Knowledge
As a senior physician at the University Hospital Lausanne, I am actively involved in research, teaching, and continuing education in the fields of aesthetic facial surgery and regenerative medicine. Regular exchange with colleagues from Switzerland and abroad, as well as my participation in scientific projects, enable me to identify new methods and technological developments early and to integrate them responsibly into my work.
Professional background
Even during my medical studies, it was clear to me that plastic surgery was my field of choice – a specialty that fascinates through its immense diversity, precision, and interdisciplinary nature. My entry into neurosurgery at the Inselspital Bern under Professor Dr. Andreas Raabe marked the first step in a uniquely multifaceted career path.
My structured postgraduate training in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery included positions in general and hand surgery at the Stadtspital Triemli Zurich, intensive care medicine at the Inselspital Bern, and hand surgery at the CHUV Lausanne. I refined my specialization at renowned institutions such as LaClinic Montreux (Dr. Michel Pfulg), the Inselspital Bern, and the University Hospital CHUV Lausanne under the guidance of Professor Dr. Wassim Raffoul.
I deepened my expertise through international fellowships and advanced training programs – including at Columbia University in New York and in Paris, France – which broadened both my surgical and academic perspective.
In 2020/21, I completed a two-year, internationally recognized postgraduate program in Aesthetic Medicine at the Collège International de Médecine Esthétique in Paris. This advanced training expanded my knowledge of minimally invasive, regenerative, and non-surgical procedures – including PRP (platelet-rich plasma), botulinum toxin, autologous fat grafting, chemical peels, and state-of-the-art laser therapies. With this holistic approach, I provide highly individualized care, whether through aesthetic surgery or alternative medical treatments.
As a consultant plastic surgeon, I am jointly responsible for aesthetic surgery and aesthetic medicine at the University Hospital CHUV Lausanne, ranked among the Top 15 hospitals worldwide by Newsweek in 2024. I played a key role in establishing the Centre Universitaire de Médecine Esthétique et Régénérative (CUMER) – a pioneering academic platform integrating cutting-edge aesthetic medicine into university-level clinical training. I am the author of several peer-reviewed publications in international journals, particularly on laser therapies and the surgical management of complex aesthetic cases.
In 2023, I was elected to the board of the Swiss Laser Society (FMCH), where I actively contribute to advancing quality standards and innovation in aesthetic laser medicine.
